Nokia Lumia 1520

Lumia 1520 is rumored to be the first flagship phablet from Finnish manufacturer Nokia featuring Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone 8 OS. It was previously known by its codename, Bandit. The Lumia 1520 will feature a 6-inch full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by quad core processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, Lumia 1520 will pack a 20 Mega Pixel rear camera capable of shooting 1080p videos. For connectivity, it will support Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS-A, NFC and LTE mobile connections. The Lumia 1520 will come pre-installed with Windows Phone 8 (GDR3 update which supports quad core processor and Full HD display resolution). Update : Nokia’s first phablet device Lumia 1520 is leaked ahead of official launch. As you can see in the image (pictured below), the alleged Lumia 1520 is pictured alongside the latest flagship Lumia 1020.

Update : According to a leaked image (pictured below), Nokia’s first flagship phablet will support wireless charging. The picture is tweeted by @tomwarren and shows three contact points on the back of the device towards the bottom. The contact points are indication that Lumia 1520 will be compatible with wireless charging.

Update : According to Reuters, Nokia has delayed the launch of its first flagship phablet by several weeks. The Lumia 1520 launch event, originally scheduled to take place in New York on September 26th, has been pushed back by several weeks.

Update : According to @evleaks, Nokia Lumia 1520 will feature a 6-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB RAM, 16/32GB storage, 20MP Pureview camera and Qi Wireless compatible cover.

Update : According to Nokia’s official Tmall online store listing (pictured below), Lumia 1520 will go on sale for 4999 Yuan or $820. The listing also confirms some of the previously leaked specifications like 6-inch 1080p display, quad core Snapdragon 800 processor and 20.7 Mega Pixel PureView camera.
