Nokia 2

 

The Nokia 2 is rumored to be the next entry level smartphone from HMD owned Nokia featuring Google’s Android OS. It is mainly aimed at first time smartphone buyers. The Nokia 2 will feature a 5-inch display and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 or 212 processor. Rests of the specs are still unknown but according to a leaked image, the design of new Nokia 2 will be similar to Nokia 3. Stay tuned for more updates.

 

 

 

Xiaomi Mi 5X

 

The Mi 5X is rumored to be the next mid-range smartphone from Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi featuring Google’s Android OS. It will be officially launched in China on July 26. The Mi 5X will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the Mi 5X will come with Dual cameras at back. In addition to that it will come with a rear mounted fingerprint scanner.

 

 

According to Xiaomi’s official Mi 5X listing, it will be available to purchase in three different color options: black, gold and rose gold. The Mi 5X will go on sale in China for 1999 Yuan ($296). Stay tuned for more updates.

 

 

 

KFC Limited Edition Smartphone

 

 

The American fast food giant KFC has officially announced a new limited edition smartphone in partnership with Chinese manufacturer Huawei to celebrate 30 years since it first opened stores in China. The limited edition smartphone will feature a 5-inch display, Snapdragon 425 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB built-in memory with support for micro-SD card, fingerprint scanner for extra security, 3020mAh battery and Google’s Android OS. The KFC Limited edition Smartphone will go on sale in China in the coming weeks for 1099 yuan ($160). Stay tuned for more updates.

LG Q6 Official

 

LG has officially announced a new mid-range smartphone LG Q6 featuring full vision display and Google’s latest Android OS. It is LG’s first mid-range phone to feature slim bezels on the display. The LG Q6 comes in three different variants depending on RAM and Storage options: LG Q6, LG Q6+ and LG Q6a.

 

The LG Q6 features a 5.5-inch QHD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 processor and 3GB RAM. For multimedia, the new LG Q6 packs a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera and a 5 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. For storage, it comes with a 32GB built-in memory. The LG Q6 comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 7.1.1 OS and LG’s latest UX 6.0 UI. In addition to that it comes with a 3000 mAh battery that is expected to last whole day on a single charge.

 

The LG Q6+ features same design as the LG Q6 but comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in memory. On the other hand, the new LG Q6a comes with a 2GB RAm and 16GB internal memory. Rests of the specs are similar to the new LG Q6.

 

The new LG Q6 smartphone will be available to purchase in Asian markets next month. It will be available in four different color options: Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White and Terra Gold. Stay tuned for more updates.

 

 

Vivo Officially Launches New Vivo X9S and X9S Plus Smartphones

Vivo has officially announced two new selfie focused mid-range smartphones: Vivo X9S and X9S Plus. Both these smartphones comes pre-installed with GOogle’s latest Android 7.1 Nougat OS and Vivo’s own Funtouch OS 3.0. 

The Vivo X9S (pictured above) features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 652 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the Vivo X9S packs a 16MP f/2.0 camera at back with LED flash and a dual front facing selfie cameras (20MP and 5MP sensors with f/2.0 aperture). There is also a front facing LED flash for better low lighting condition. For storage, it comes with 64GB non expandable internal memory. The Vivo X9S also comes with a fingerprint scanner Incorporated in the home button. In addition to that it comes with a 3320mAh battery. 

The Vivo X9S Plus (pictures above in black) features a bigger 5.85-inch full HD AMOLED display, octa core Snapdragon 653 processor, 4GB RAM, 16MP rear camera with PDAF and LED flash, Dual front facing selfie cameras (20MP and 5MP sensor), fingerprint scanner Incorporated in the home button, 64GB non expandable internal memory and a powerful 4015mAh battery. 
Both these smartphones will be available to purchase in three different color options: Gold, Rose gold and Matte Black. The Vivo X9S will go on sale in China in the coming weeks for CNY 2698 ($396), while the bigger X9S Plus will available to purchase for CNY 2998 ($440). Stay tuned for more updates. 

Huawei Mate 10

Huawei is rumored to launch next flagship smartphone, the Mate 10 in October later this year. It will be the successor to Huawei Mate 9 which was launched in November last year. The Mate 10 will feature a JDI’s 6-inch Full Active display (pictured above) with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2160 x 1080 Pixel resolution. It will be powered by Huawei’s next generation 10nm Kirin 970 processor. For multimedia, the new Mate 10 will pack 3D sensing Dual cameras at back which will be used for augmented reality feature. 

The new Mate 10 will come pre-installed with GOogle’s latest Android OS. It will also feature a under display fingerprint sensor. Rests of the specs are unknown but Huawei will launch Mate 10 in October later this year. Stay tuned for more information. 

LG Q6

The LG Q6 is rumored to be the next mid range smartphone from Korean manufacturer LG featuring Google’s Android OS. It was previously known as LG G6 Mini. The design of LG Q6 will be based on LG’s current flagship LG G6. It will feature a 5.4-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by 3GB RAM. For multimedia, the new LG Q6 will pack 13 Mega Pixel rear camera. 

The LG Q6 will come pre-installed with GOogle’s latest Android OS. Rests of the specs are still unknown but LG is expected to launch LG Q6 at a press event in Poland on July 11. Stay tuned for more updates.
