Motorola Moto G8 Plus

The Moto G8 Plus is rumored to be the next mid-range smartphone from Lenovo owned Motorola featuring Google’s Android OS. It is the successor to Moto G7 Plus which was launched earlier this year and also known by it’s codename Moto XT2019.

The Moto G8 Plus will feature a 6.3-inch IPS display with 1080p resolution. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the Moto G8 Plus will pack triple camera setup on the back (48MP primary camera + 16MP Ultra-wide sensor + 5MP depth sensor) capable of shooting 4K videos and a 25MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures.

The Moto G8 Plus will come pre-installed with Google’s latest Android OS. For storage, it will come with 64GB/128GB internal storage with support for micro-SD card. In addition to that it will come with 4000mAh battery with support for Turbo Charge technology.

Rests of the specs are still unknown but Motorola is expected to launch Moto G8 Plus at a press event in Brazil on October 24. Stay tuned for more updates.

Google Pixel 4 Official

Google has officially launched fourth generation Pixel 4 smartphones featuring the latest Android 10 OS at its ‘made by google’ press event in New York. The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are the two models in the new Pixel 4 Series.

The Pixel 4 features a 5.7-inch 90Hz OLED display with FHD+ resolution whereas the bigger Pixel 4 XL packs a 6.3-inch display with QHD+ resolution. Both the Pixel 4 smartphones are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor and 6GB RAM. For storage, both the devices come with non-expandable 64GB/128GB internal memory.

For multimedia, both the Pixel 4 smartphones come with a Dual camera setup (12MP with Dual Pixel autofocus + 16MP telephoto lens with OIS and EIS) on the back capable of shooting 4K 30fps videos and a 120fps slow-motion mode. There is no ultra-wide camera here, however Google’s new Pixel Neural Core and algorithms will make the biggest impact on image quality. Moreover, the new flagship devices packs an 8MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures.

In addition to that the new Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL has 2800mAh battery and 3700mAh battery respectively. Both the Pixel 4 smartphones support 18W fast charging using the included charger. Other Pixel 4 features include IP68 certification and stereo speakers.

The new Pixel 4 Smartphones will be available to purchase in three color options : Just Black, Clearly White and Limited Edition Oh so Orange. On to availability, the Pixel 4 phones are now available to pre-order in selected markets including US, Canada, UK and Europe. Realme X2 Pro Official

The Realme X2 Pro is the new flagship smartphone from Chinese manufacturer Realme featuring latest generation specs and a very affordable price. It is the true flagship killer of 2019.

The Realme X2 Pro features a 6.5-inch 90Hz display with FHD+ resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855+ and 6/8/12GB RAM. Moreover, the Realme X2 Pro packs an in-display fingerprint scanner for faster biometric authentication.

The Realme X2 Pro comes with a quad camera setup on the back with 64MP f/1.8 primary sensor, 13MP telephoto lens, 8MP Ultra-wide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. It can record slow-motion videos (720p at 960fps) in additon to 4K videos. On the front, the Realme X2 Pro has a 16MP camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. Additionally, the Realme X2 Pro comes with a 4000mAh battery with support for latest 50W Super VOOC fast charging. It can charge from 0 to 80% in 30 minutes. In addition to that it comes pre-installed with Oppo’s ColorOS 6.1 which is based on Google’s Android 9 Pie OS. The new flagship wlll be available in four color options : Ocean Blue, Midnight Silver and two master editions comes in Red and grey.

The Realme X2 Pro will be available to purchase in China starting October 18 for starting price of CNY 2699 ($380) for 6/64GB variant. It will go on sale in Europe in early November for retail price of €399 for 6/64GB variant. The top model with 12/256GB storage will be available for €499. Stay tuned for more updates.

Apple iPhone SE 2

Apple is rumored to be working on second generation iPhone SE, a new entry level iPhone with similar design to iPhone 8, which was launched back in 2017. The iPhone SE 2 was extensively leaked for the past few months.

According to new research report from reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will officially launch iPhone SE 2 in the first quarter of 2020. Moreover, the report claims, the second generation iPhone SE will go on sale for $399.

Additionally, Kuo expects the new iPhone SE 2 to feature Apple’s latest A13 chipset, 3GB RAM and 64/128GB internal storage. In addition to that it will be available to purchase in three color options : Space gray, Silver and Red.

Sony Xperia 8

The Xperia 8 is the new mid-range smartphone from Japanese manufacturer Sony featuring Google’s Android OS. In size, it measures 158 x 69 x 8.1 mm and weighs 170g.

The Xperia 8 features a 6-inch 21:9 FHD+ LCD display with resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 processor and 4GB RAM. Moreover, the Xperia 8 packs a dual camera setup (12MP main + 8MP Ultra-wide sensor) on the back and an 8MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures.

Additionally, the Xperia 8 comes with 64GB internal storage which can be expanded by micro-SD card. Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, IP65/68 certification, NFC technology, an LED notification light and fingerprint scanner on the side for biometric authentication. The Xperia 8 comes with a 2760mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

Initially, the Xperia 8 will be exclusively available to purchase in Japan later in October for JPY 54000 ($500). There will be four color options available : Black, White, Orange and Blue. There is no official information available on the global release. Stay tuned for more updates.

Motorola RAZR Fold

Motorola is rumored to launch a new foldable smartphone, similar to the iconic Moto RAZR which was a household name back in the noughties. The new RAZR Fold will feature a foldable OLED display that is fully Incorporated in the device.

According to a report from XDA Developers, the new Moto RAZR Fold will feature a 6.20-inch display with resolution of 2142 x 876 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 processor and 4GB/6GB RAM. For storage, it will come with 64GB/128GB internal memory. In addition to that, it will come with 2730mAh battery.

Another report from The Wall Street Journal claims that the new Moto RAZR Fold will have a foldable screen and a premium price of $1500 (£1200). It is reported that Motorola (owned by Lenovo) is partnering with Verizon Communication on an exclusive deal to sell the new RAZR smartphones in US.
