Lumia 1020 is the latest flagship smartphone from Finnish manufacturer Nokia featuring Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone 8 OS. It was previously known by its codename Nokia EOS. In size, Lumia 1020 measures 130.4 x 71.4 x 10.4 mm and weighs 158g. It is also the first Lumia smartphone to feature 41 Mega Pixel PureView Camera. The Lumia 1020 features a 4.5-inch AMOLED display with resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor and 2GB RAM.

The Lumia 1020 features a 41 Mega Pixel PureView camera (with second generation Optical Image Stabilization and Xenon flash) at back and 1.2 Mega Pixel front facing HD camera for Skype video calls. It is the only smartphone to feature 41MP camera sensor. The camera features a Carl Zeiss lens and a new Pro Camera application to access all the advanced settings like white balance and shutter speed. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 3.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, USB 2.0, GPS, NFC technology and LTE mobile connections. For storage Lumia 1020 will come with 32GB or 64GB built-in memory and an additional 7GB SkyDrive cloud storage. The Lumia 1020 comes pre-installed with Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone 8 OS. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 2000mAh battery that gives talk time of up to 13.3 hour and Standby time of 16 days. The Lumia 1020 supports Wireless charging via an accessory cover. On to the price and availability, Lumia 1020 will be available to purchase in US from AT&T starting July 26th for $299.99. There is no information available on the global release.
