Nokia Phablet

Nokia is rumored to launch its first flagship phablet during second half of 2013. It will be the first Windows Phone smartphone to feature over 5-inch display. The Nokia Phablet (pictured above) will feature a 6-inch 720p display. It will come pre-installed with Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 OS. There is no further information available on the handset but it is expected to launch during second half of 2013. Stay tuned for more updates or follow @harrym20 on Twitter.

Update : According to the leaked image (pictured below), it looks like Nokia has started mass production of its first 6-inch phablet. It is rumored to be launched during second half of 2013.

Update : Nokia Bandit is rumored to be the codename for Nokia’s first flagship phablet featuring 6-inch full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is also rumored to feature a rear camera with at least 20 Mega Pixel resolution.

Update : According to a new report from Reuters, Nokia will launch its first phablet by the end of September 2013.

Update : Nokia Lumia 1520 is rumored to be the official name for Nokia’s first phablet device. It will come pre-installed with Windows Phone GDR3 update which will support quad core processors and full HD display resolution.
