Xiaomi Mi 5X Official

 

 

The Mi 5X is the latest mid-range smartphone rrom Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi featuring Google’s Android OS. It was extensively leaked for the past few weeks. The new Mi 5X features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the new Mi 5X packs a 12MP dual cameras at back capable of shooting 4K videos and a 5MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures.

 

The Mi 5X comes pre-installed with MiUI 9 which is based on Google’s latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS. For storage, it comes with a 64GB built-in memory and support for micro-SD card. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 3080mAh battery that is expected to last whole day on a single charge. The new Mi 5X will be available to purchase in three different color options: Black, gold and rose gold (pink). It will go on sale in selected markets including China in the coming weeks for $220. Motorola Moto Z2 Force Official

 

Motorola has officially announced a new Moto Z2 Force Edition in the US featuring a shatterproof display and dual cameras setup on the back. It has been extensively leaked for the past few weeks. In size, it measures 155.8 x 76 x 6.1 mm and weighs only 143g. The new Moto Z2 Force Edition features a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display that is guaranteed not to crack or shatter. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the new Moto Z2 Force Edition packs a 12MP Dual cameras at back, one monochrome and other color that enables users to take professional looking pictures. The rear cameras can also shoot like a pro by adding a blur effect to the background or foreground of the images. The new Moto Z2 Force Edition also comes with a 5MP wide angle front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth, WiFi  802.11 b/g/n, NFC technology, USB Type-C, Moto Mods connector and LTE mobile connections.

 

The new Moto Z2 Force Edition comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. For storage, it comes with a 64GB built-in memory and support for micro-SD card. In addition to that it comes with a 2730mAh battery with TurboPower charging technology. The Moto Z2 Force Edition is now available to pre-order in the US. Apple iPhone SE 2

The iPhone SE 2 is rumored to be the next mid-range iPhone from Apple featuring the next generation iOS 11. It was previously previously rumored that Apple might not release a successor to small screen iPhone SE but according to a new report from iGeneration, Apple will launch a second generation iPhone SE by the end of August 2017.

 

The design of new 4.0-inch iPhone will be similar to the predecessor iPhone SE (pictured above). Rests of the specs are still unknown but Apple is expected to launch a second generation iPhone SE at a press event by the end of August 2017.

 

The report also states that Apple is going to hold two launch events for the next generation iPhones, one in August end (for iPhone SE 2) and other in October (for iPhone 8). The new iPhone SE 2 will go on sale in selected markets in Europe for € 399. Stay tuned for more updates.

 

 

Lenovo Folio Concept Phone

 

 

 

At the recent Lenovo Tech World 2017, the Chinese company has showcased the prototype for the next generation bendable/foldable smartphone/tablet hybrid. The design is similar to current tablets in the market with the exception of flexible display panel which can be folded in the middle to make a portable device.

 

 

The new smartphone/tablet hybrid prototype shown at Tech World 2017 features a 5.5-inch display with resolution of 1920 x 1440 pixels. It was running Google’s latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active

 

The Galaxy S8 Active is rumored to be the next rugged smartphone from Korean giant Samsung featuring Google’s latest Android OS. The design of Galaxy S8 Active is similar to Samsung’s current flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ with the exception of curved edge display. According to newly leaked images, the Galaxy S8 Active will have a rear mounted fingerprint scanner right next to the camera module. Other features include USB Type=C port on the bottom and a massive 4000mAh battery that is expected to last two days on a single charge.

Nokia 2

 

The Nokia 2 is rumored to be the next entry level smartphone from HMD owned Nokia featuring Google’s Android OS. It is mainly aimed at first time smartphone buyers. The Nokia 2 will feature a 5-inch display and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 or 212 processor.
