Lenovo Moto G5 Plus

The Moto G5 Plus is rumored to be the next mid range smartphone from Lenovo owned Motorola featuring Google’s latest Android 7 Nougat OS. It will be successor to Moto G4 Plus which was launched last year. The Moto G5 Plus will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 2GHz octa core Snapdragon 625, 4GB RAM, 13MP rear camera, 5MP Selfie camera, 4G LTE connectivity, 32GB internal storage and a powerful 3080mAh battery.

HTC Officially Launches New HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play Smartphones 


The HTC U Ultra is the latest high end smartphone from Taiwanese manufacturer HTC featuring Google’s latest Android 7 Nougat OS. In size, it measures 162.4 x 79.7 x 3.6-7.9mm and weighs 170g. The HTC U Ultra features a 5.7-inch QHD display with secondary display on top, similar to LG’s flagship LG V20. It is powered by Snapdragon 821 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the HTC U Ultra packs a 12MP UltraPixel camera at back with Optical Image Stabilisation and a 16MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, NFC technology, USB Type-C port and LTE mobile connectivity. It also comes with HTC’s new Sense Companion, an AI assistant that will help you with everything with your voice commands. It also comes with HTC’s new USonic technology which promises personalised sound experience. 
The HTC U Ultra comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 7 Nougat OS. For storage, it comes with 64GB/128GB built in memory with support for micro-SD card. In addition to that it comes with a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. 

The HTC U Play features a 5.2-inch 1080p display, octa core MediaTek Helio processor, 3GB/4GB RAM depending on 32GB/64GB storage, 16MP rear camera with OIS, PDAF and 16MP Selfie camera, NFC technology, USB Type-C, HTC Sense Companion, 2500mAh battery with fast charging technology and Google Android 6 OS. 

The HTC U Ultra will go on sale in selected markets in the coming weeks. It will be available to purchase in US for $749 (Sim-free). There is no official information available on pricing and availability on U Play. Stay tuned for more updates. 

Asus Officially Announces New Zenfone 3 Zoom and Zenfone AR Smartphones 

Asus has officially announced two new smartphones, the Zenfone AR and Zenfone 3 Zoom. 
The Zenfone AR features a 5.7-inch QHD display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 821 CPU, 8GB RAM, a 23MP Sony IMX318 camera on back with Optical Image Stabilisation and 4K video capture capability, 8MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures, fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button, 3300mAh battery and Google’s latest Android 7 Nougat OS. It is also world’s second smartphone to support Tango, Google’s augmented reality (AR) system. In addition it also supports Daydream, Google’s virtual reality system built in Android Nougat. 

The Zenfone 3 Zoom features a 5.5-inch 1080p display with Gorilla Glass 5 on top, Snapdragon 625 CPU, 4GB RAM, Dual setup 12MP cameras at back with Optical Image Stabilisation, 2.3x Optical zoom, 13MP Selfie camera, 128GB storage, 5000mAh battery and Google Android 6 Marshmallow OS. 

The Zenfone 3 Zoom and Zenfone AR will go on sale in selected markets in February 2017. Stay tuned for more updates. 

Nokia 6 Official 

The Nokia 6 is the latest mid-range smartphone from HMD Global (which holds the rights to Nokia brand) featuring Google’s latest Android 7 Nougat OS. It is made up from a solid block of 6000 series aluminium with two separate anodising processes. The Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with curved 2.5D Gorilla Glass display on top. It is powered by an octa core Snapdragon 430 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the Nokia 6 packs a 16MP rear camera with PDAF and an 8MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. 
The Nokia 6 comes pre-installed with Google Android 7 OS. For storage, it comes with 64GB built-in memory. The Nokia 6 will be exclusively available to purchase in China in coming weeks for $245. Stay tuned for more updates. 

Samsung Officially Unveils New Galaxy A(2017) Smartphones

Samsung has officially launched the latest Galaxy A(2017) smartphones, including the new Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7. The new Galaxy A(2017) Smartphones features a premium metal frame and 3D glass on back. 

The Galaxy A3(2017) features a 4.7-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. In size, it measures 135.4 x 66.2 x 7.9mm. The Galaxy A3(2017) is powered by 1.6GHz octa core processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, it packs a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP Selfie camera. The Galaxy A3(2017) comes pre-installed with Google’s Android 6 OS. For storage, it comes with 16GB internal memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition it comes with 2350mAh battery. 

The Galaxy A5(2017) features a 5.2-inch Full HD display, 1.9GHz octa core processor, 3GB RAM, 16MP rear camera, 16MP Selfie camera, 3000mAh battery with fast charging technology, 32GB internal memory with support for micro-SD card slot and Android 6 Marshmallow OS. In size, it measures 146.1 x 71.4 x 7.9mm. 

The Galaxy A7(2017) features a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 1.9GHz octa core processor, 3GB RAM, 16MP rear cameta (F1.9), 16MP Selfie camera (F1.9), 32GB internal memory, 3600mAh battery and Android 6 Marshmallow OS.

Sony Xperia XZ 2017

Sony is rumored to be working on a new design for its next year’s flagship smartphone, the Xperia XZ (2017). According to a leaked image, the new flagship will feature bezel-less curved edge display, similar to Samsung’s flagship, the Galaxy S7 Edge.
