Nokia has officially announced its latest flagship Nokia 8 smartphone featuring Google’s Android OS. It is the first flagship device from Nokia after acquired by HMD Global. The new Nokia 8 features a 5.3=inch 2.5D display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the new Nokia 8 packs two 13MP cameras (color + monochrome) at back with laser auto focus and optical image stabilization and a 13MP front facing with f/2.0 aperture and phase detection auto focus. The Selfie camera on Nokia 8 is capable of livestream split-screen video from the front and back cameras to social media channels like YouTube and Facebook.

The new Nokia 8 comes pre-installed with Google’s Android 7.1 Nougat OS. For storage, it comes with a 64GB built-in memory with support for micro-SD card. The new Nokia 8 also comes with Nokia’s own OZO technology for an improved audio experience. In addition to that it comes with a 3090mAh battery that is expected to last whole day on single charge. Sony Xperia XZ1

 

The Xperia XZ1 is rumored to be the next flagship smartphone from Japanese manufacturer Sony featuring Google’s latest Android OS. According to newly leaked images, the Xperia XZ1 will feature a 5.2-inch HDR Triluminos X-reality display. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor. For multimedia, the new flagship will pack a 19 Mega Pixel rear camera with Motion Eye feature and a 13 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. In addition to that the new Xperia XZ1 is IP65/68 certified.

Sharp Aquos S2 Official

 

 

Sharp has officially announced new Aquos S2 featuring bezel-less design and Google’s latest Android OS. In size, it measures 141.8 x 72.0 x 7.9 mm and weighs 140g. The new Aquos S2 features a unique bezel-less 5.5-inch 4K display with resolution of 2040 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Snapdragon 630 processor and 4GB/6GB RAM (depending on storage). For multimedia, the new Aquos S2 packs a dual camera setup (12MP/8MP) for improved low light photography and an 8MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures.

 

The new Aquos S2 comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android Nougat OS. For storage, it comes with a 64GB/128GB. In addition to that it comes with a 3020mAh battery that is expected to last whole day on a single charge. Motorola officially launches new Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus Smartphones

 

Motorola has officially announced two new mid-range smartphones in the form of Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus. Both were extensively leaked ahead of official launch.

 

The Moto G5S features a 5.2-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 processor and 3GB RAM. For multimedia, the new Moto G5S packs a 16MP f/2.0 camera at back with phase detection auto focus and LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera with LED fl;ash for video calls and Selfie pictures. For storage, it comes with a 64GB built-in memory with support for micro-SD card. Additionally, it comes with a powerful 3000mAh battery that is expected to last whole day on single charge. The new Moto G5S will be available to purchase in two different colors: Lunar gray and fine gold. It will go on sale in selected markets in Europe for €249.

 

The Moto G5S Plus features a 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, Dual 13MP cameras at back capable of shooting 4K videos, 8MP Selfie camera, 3000mAh battery and Google’s latest Android 7.1 Nougat OS. Samsung W2018

 

 

The Samsung W2018 is rumored to be the next high end flip phone from Korean giant Samsung featuring Google’s Android OS. It is the successor to Samsung W2017 and is also known by its code name Samsung SM-G9298. The new W2018 will feature two 4.2-inch Full HD touch screens with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821AB processor. For multimedia, the new W2018 will pack a 12 Mega Pixel camera at back and a 5 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures.

 

 

 

The new W2018 is also rumored to come pre-installed with Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. In addition to that it will come with 2300mAh battery that will support wireless charging technology. The Mi 5X is the latest mid-range smartphone rrom Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi featuring Google’s Android OS. It was extensively leaked for the past few weeks. The new Mi 5X features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the new Mi 5X packs a 12MP dual cameras at back capable of shooting 4K videos and a 5MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures.

 

The Mi 5X comes pre-installed with MiUI 9 which is based on Google’s latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS. For storage, it comes with a 64GB built-in memory and support for micro-SD card. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 3080mAh battery that is expected to last whole day on a single charge. The new Mi 5X will be available to purchase in three different color options: Black, gold and rose gold (pink). It will go on sale in selected markets including China in the coming weeks for $220. Motorola has officially announced a new Moto Z2 Force Edition in the US featuring a shatterproof display and dual cameras setup on the back. It has been extensively leaked for the past few weeks. In size, it measures 155.8 x 76 x 6.1 mm and weighs only 143g. The new Moto Z2 Force Edition features a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display that is guaranteed not to crack or shatter. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the new Moto Z2 Force Edition packs a 12MP Dual cameras at back, one monochrome and other color that enables users to take professional looking pictures. The rear cameras can also shoot like a pro by adding a blur effect to the background or foreground of the images. The new Moto Z2 Force Edition also comes with a 5MP wide angle front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth, WiFi  802.11 b/g/n, NFC technology, USB Type-C, Moto Mods connector and LTE mobile connections.
