The New Moto E (2015) is the latest entry level smartphone from Lenovo owned Motorola featuring Google’s latest Android 5.0 OS. It is the successor to popular Moto E which was launched last year. In size, it measures 129.9 x 66.8 x 5.2-12.3mm and weighs 145g. The New Moto E (2015) features a 4.5-inch qHD display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels (245ppi pixel density). It is powered by 1.2GHz quad core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, the New Moto E (2015) packs a 5 Mega Pixel rear camera and front facing VGA camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A and LTE mobile connections.

The New Moto E (2015) comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. For storage, it comes with an 8GB built-in memory. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 2390mAh battery that is expected to last whole day on a single charge. Lava Xolo Win Q1000 Official

The Xolo Win Q1000 is the latest mid-range smartphone from Indian smartphone manufacturer Lava featuring Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8.1 OS. In size, it measures 143 x 71.3 x 8.8mm and weighs 164g. The Xolo Win Q1000 features a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 200 processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, the Win Q1000 packs an 8 Mega Pixel rear camera and 2 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A, Dual SIM functionality and 3G mobile connections.

The Xolo Win Q1000 comes pre-installed with Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS. For storage, it comes with an 8GB internal memory and micro-SD card slot. Meizu MX5

Meizu MX5 is rumored to be the next flagship smartphone from Chinese manufacturer Meizu featuring an impressive 41 Mega Pixel camera. It will be the successor to current flagship, Meizu MX4 (pictured above). The Meizu MX5 will feature a 5.5-inch QHD display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It will be powered by MediaTek’s latest 64-bit octa core MT6795 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the Meizu MX5 will pack a 41 Mega Pixel rear camera at back capable of shooting 4K videos.

BlackBerry Leap

BlackBerry Leap is rumored to be the next mid-range smartphone from Canadian manufacturer BlackBerry featuring the latest BlackBerry 10.3 OS. It was previously known by its codename, BlackBerry Rio. The design will be similar to BlackBerry Z3 which was launched last year. The BlackBerry Leap will feature a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It will be powered by 1.5GHz Dual core MSM8960 processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, the Leap will pack an 8 Mega Pixel rear camera and 2 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. For connectivity, it will support Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Miracast and LTE mobile connections.

The BlackBerry Leap is rumored to come with BlackBerry’s latest BlackBerry 10.3.1 software. For storage, it will pack 16GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it will come with a powerful 2800mAh battery. Rest of the specs are still unknown but BlackBerry is expected to announce this mid-range smartphone at MWC 2015 in Barcelona next month.

LG Officially Launches Four New Mid Range Smartphones With Premium Design and Features

LG has officially announced a new lineup of four mid-range smartphones – Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy. They all come with LG’s premium design and features that are usually reserved for flagship smartphones. LG has created a perfect balance of style and usability with the latest lineup.

LG Magna features a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (294ppi pixel density). In size, it measures 139.7 x 69.9 x 10.2mm. It will be powered by 1.3Ghz quad core processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, the LG Magna packs an 8MP rear camera and 5MP Selfie camera. For connectivity, it supports LTE Cat 4 connections. The LG Magna comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. For storage, it comes with 8GB internal memory. In addition to that it comes with a 2540mAh removable battery.

LG Spirit features a 4.7-inch HD display, 1.3GHz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 1MP Selfie camera, LTE Cat. 4 connectivity, 2100mAh removable battery and Google’s latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. In size, it measures 133.3 x 66.1 x 9.9mm.

LG Leon features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display (220ppi pixel density), 1.3Ghz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, VGA Selfie camera, LTE Cat. 4 connectivity, 8GB internal memory, 1900mAh removable battery and Google’s latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. In size, it measures 129.9 x 64.9 x 10.9mm.

LG Joy features a 4-inch WVGA display (233ppi display), 1.2GHz Dual core processor, 512MB RAM, 5MP rear camera, VGA front facing camera, LTE Cat. 4 connectivity, 4GB built-in memory, 1900mAh battery and Google’s latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. In size, it measures 122.7 x 64.0 x 11.9mm.

With the new mid-range lineup, LG is bringing popular UX features that were originally designed for its premium smartphones. Gesture Shot makes it easy to take great Selfies with a simple hand gesture that starts a three second countdown. Glance View let’s users quickly access key information such as time, recent messages or missed calls with a simple downward swipe on the screen, even when the display is off.
