Samsung Galaxy Note II

Galaxy Note 2 is the next generation phablet from korean manufacturer, Samsung. After the successful launch of recently announced Galaxy S3 Samsung is concentrating on successor to original Galaxy Note. Galaxy Note 2 will feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display with the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixel. Powerhouse of the device are 2GHz Exonys dual core processor and 2GB RAM. There is no official announcement from Samsung but other main features of Galaxy Note 2 are 12 Mega Pixel rear camera with HD video recording, Jelly Bean OS (Android 4.1), 32GB storage, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and HSPA+ connectivity.

Overall, Galaxy Note 2 is impressive. Samsung has learned that there is a market for large screen smartphones after the success of original Galaxy Note. Galaxy Note 2 will be launched on August 29 at IFA 2012 in Berlin. It will compete against the likes of Apple’s iPhone 5 and LG’s Optimus Vu 2. Update : Samsung confirmed that Galaxy Note II will be unveiled on August 29 at this year’s IFA. Rumors are that Galaxy Note II will have Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) pre-installed on it.
