HTC U

The HTC U is rumored to be the next flagship smartphone from Taiwanese manufacturer HTC featuring Google’s latest Android OS. It is also known by its codename HTC Ocean. The HTC U will feature a 5.5-inch QHD display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor. For multimedia, the HTC U will pack 12MP IMX362 camera at back and a 16MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. The HTC U will also come with a unique ‘Edge sense’ technology (similar to Apple’s 3D Touch) where sensors will be embedded under the display that enable user to control numerous customisable actions. 

The HTC U will come pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 7.1 OS. For storage, it comes with a 64GB/128GB built in memory and micro-SD card slot. Rests of the specs are still unknown but HTC is expected to launch HTC U in coming weeks. It will go on sale in selected markets next month. Stay tuned for more updates. 

HTC One X10 Official

HTC has officially announced a new mid range smartphone, the One X10, in Russia. In size, it measures 152.9 x 75.6 x 8.23mm and weighs 175g. The One X10 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by octa core MediaTek Helio P10 processor and 3GB RAM. For multimedia, the One X10 packs a 16MP with Auto focus and an 8MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. 

The One X10 comes pre-installed with Google’s Android OS. For storage, it comes with a 32GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back and support Dual-SIM functionality. The One X10 will go on sale in Russia in coming weeks for $355.  Stay tuned for more updates. 

Motorola Moto C and Moto C Plus

Motorola is rumored to launch a new Moto C Series which will target first time smartphone buyers. The Moto C and Moto C Plus (pictured above) will be the new entry level smartphones from Lenovo owned Motorola featuring Google’s latest Android 7 Nougat OS. 

The new Moto C (pictured above) will feature a 5-inch FWVGA display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, quad core MediaTek chipset, 1GB RAM, 5MP primary camera with Auto Focus, 2MP Selfie camera with flash, 8GB/16GB internal storage with support for microSD card and a 2350mAh battery. 

The Moto C Plus will feature a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, quad core MediaTek CPU, 1GB/2GB RAM, 8MP main camera, 2MP Selfie camera, 16GB internal storage with support for micro-SD card and a powerful 4000mAh battery. 

Both the Moto C smartphones will be available to purchase in four different colors: black, gold, red and white. Stay tuned for more updates. 

Samsung Officially Announces New Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Smartphones 

The Galaxy S8 is the latest flagship smartphone from Korean giant Samsung featuring Google’s latest Android 7 Nougat OS. In size, it measures 148.9 x 68.1 x 8.0 mm and weighs 152g. The Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED infinity display (a bezel-less edge-to-edge screen) with resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels (586ppi pixel density). It is powered by octa core 64-bit 10nm Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the Galaxy S8 packs a 12MP DualPixel camera at back with Optical Image Stabilisation and 4K video recording and an 8MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. 

The Galaxy S8 comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 7 Nougat OS. For storage, it comes with 64GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it comes with a 3000mAh battery with fast charging technology. The Galaxy S8 also comes with an iris scanner which can unlock your smartphone just by looking at it. 

The Galaxy S8+ features a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED infinity display with resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels (531ppi pixel density). In size, it measures 159.5 x 73.4 x 8.1mm and weighs 173g. It is powered by same octa core 10nm Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB RAM as in Galaxy S8. For multimedia, the Galaxy S8+ packs a 12MP DualPixel rear camera with OIS and 4K video recording capability and an 8MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. 

The Galaxy S8+ comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 7 Nougat OS. For storage, it comes with 64GB internal storage and micro-SD card slot. Additionally, it comes with a powerful 3500mAh battery with fast charging technology. The Galaxy S8+ will be available to purchase in five different colors: Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, Arctic Silver and Maple Gold. It will go on sale in selected markets in Europe starting April 28th. The Galaxy S8 will cost $750/€809 whereas Galaxy S8+ will be available to purchase for $850/€909. Stay tuned for more updates. 

Moto X 2017

The Moto X (2017) is rumored to be the next mid range smartphone from Lenovo owned Motorola featuring Google’s latest Android OS. It is also known by its model number XT1801. The new Moto X (2017) will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor and 3GB RAM. It will come with 32GB of internal storage. Rests of the specs are still unknown but the design and prototype of Moto X (2017) has been leaked ahead of the launch. Stay tuned for more updates. 

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2


The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is rumored to be the next flagship smartphone from Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi featuring Google’s Android OS. It is the successor to Mi Mix which was launched last year. The new Mi Mix 2 will have a higher screen-to-body ratio of 93% than predecessor Mi Mix (91.3%).

he BlackBerry Aurora is the latest budget friendly smartphone from BlackBerry featuring Google’s latest Android OS. It is the first BlackBerry smartphone released by BB Merah Putih under its new brand licensing agreement with BlackBerry for Indonesian market. In size, it measures 152 x 76.8 x 8.5mm and weighs 178g. It is also first BlackBerry smartphone to support dual-SIM functionality. The BlackBerry Aurora features a 5.5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the BlackBerry Aurora packs a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. 

The BlackBerry Aurora comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 7 Nougat OS. For storage, it comes with a 32GB built-in memory and support for micro-SD card slot. In addition it comes with a powerful 3000mAh battery. The BlackBerry Aurora will be available to purchase in three different colors: black, silver and gold.
