The Aquos R7 is the new flagship smartphone from Japanese manufacturer Sharp featuring key specs like Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, a large 6.6-inch Pro IGZO OLED display with 240Hz refresh rate, a 47MP f/1.9 Dual cameras system on the back, a powerful 5000mAh battery and Android 12 OS. It is the direct successor to Aquos R6 which was launched last year. The detailed specifications are as follows.
The Aquos R7 is packed with a 6.6-inch Pro IGZO OLED FHD+ display with 240Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and 12GB RAM. For storage, it has 256GB built-in memory.
Furthermore, the Aquos R7 has two cameras (47MP f/1.9 main sensor + 1.9MP Portrait lens) on the back and a 12.6MP front facing Selfie camera. In addition to that it has a long-lasting 5000mAh battery.
The Aquos R7 will be available in two colour options: black and Silver. It will go on sale in Japan starting July 2022. There is no official information available on pricing and availability yet. Stay tuned for more updates.
