The New Moto X (2014) is the latest flagship smartphone from Lenovo owned Motorola featuring Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It was previously known by its codename Moto X+1. In size, it measures 140.8 x 72.4 x 9.9mm and weighs 144g. The New Moto X features a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s 2.5GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, the New Moto X packs a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera capable of shooting 4K videos and 2 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures.

The New Moto X comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.4.4 OS. The Active Display notifications are back with new ‘Moto Display’ name. The Moto Actions uses infrared sensors above the display to give new gesture control features. The Moto Voice brings new customization options for Touchless controls. ‘Ok Google Now’ command is now a thing of past. For storage, the New Moto X comes with 16GB/32GB built-in memory. In addition to that it comes with a 2300mAh battery. The New Moto X will follow it’s predecessor and can be customised via Moto Maker website. New owners can choose from two front covers and 25 back covers including four wood finishes. The New Moto X will go on sale in US later this month for $499.99 (SIM-free). Stay tuned for more updates.
