Philips W6618 is the latest budget friendly smartphone from Dutch manufacturer Philips featuring a massive 5300mAh battery that gives stand-by time of over two months. The huge battery can provide a talk time of up to 33 hours and stand-by time of up to 66 days or 1584 hours.
The Philips W6618 features a 5-inch qHD display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. In size, it measures 11.4mm in thickness largely because of that massive battery. It will be powered by a quad core 1.3GHz MediaTek processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, the Philips W6618 packs an 8 Mega Pixel rear camera with LED flash. For connectivity, it supports Dual-SIM functionality (WCDMA + GSM).
The Philips W6618 comes pre-installed with Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. For storage, it comes with a 4GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. The Philips W6618 is now available to purchase in China for 1699 YUAN or $273. There is no official information available on the international release. Stay tuned for more updates.
