Blackberry 9360 is the next generation CDMA phone that is follow up to original Curve series. Blackberry 9360 has 4 inch HVGA screen with resolution of 480 x 360 pixels which is great for web browsing and to edit office documents. The QWERTY keypad is great for typing those long emails and blogs. Pictures and videos looks awesome on High resolution screen. The powerhouse of Blackberry 9360 is Qualcomm MSM8655 processor running at 800 MHz and 512 MB RAM that makes it great for multi tasking and fast processing. It comes with Blackberry OS 7 which is an upgrade to OS 6. For connectivity it has Mobile 3G network connections, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth v2.1. It also supports Quad band GSM/CDMA/GPRS/EDGE technology. For storage it has 512MB and microSD memory card slot that has potential to expand memory to 32GB. Its good to save all those important documents and multimedia files.

Other features include 5 Mega Pixel Camera with LED flash. The quality won’t be as good as digital cameras but it is really handy. The main new feature in 9360 is Near Field Communication (NFC). It is a new contact less mobile payment service. It also has an in built GPS that helps you with navigation using google maps or Blackberry maps. As usual 9360 also supports Blackberry’s push email service which is best in the smartphone market right now. It also comes with preloaded Social networking apps that are voted best in recent months.

Overall, 9360 is an impressive device for consumers on budget. In recent months Android and iphone has taken over Blackberry’s market share and RIM is working hard to regain its position in smartphone market.
