Xiaomi Mi 5X

 

The Mi 5X is rumored to be the next mid-range smartphone from Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi featuring Google’s Android OS. It will be officially launched in China on July 26. The Mi 5X will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the Mi 5X will come with Dual cameras at back. In addition to that it will come with a rear mounted fingerprint scanner.

 

 

According to Xiaomi’s official Mi 5X listing, it will be available to purchase in three different color options: black, gold and rose gold. The Mi 5X will go on sale in China for 1999 Yuan ($296). Stay tuned for more updates.

 

 

 

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2


The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is rumored to be the next flagship smartphone from Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi featuring Google’s Android OS. It is the successor to Mi Mix which was launched last year. The new Mi Mix 2 will have a higher screen-to-body ratio of 93% than predecessor Mi Mix (91.3%). 

Rests of the specs are still unknown but Xiaomi is expected to launch second generation Mi Mix in the coming months. Stay tuned for more updates. 

Xiaomi Mi 5C

The Mi 5C is the latest mid-range smartphone from Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi featuring Google’s latest Android OS. It will be first Xiaomi smartphone to feature in-house Surge S1 processor. The Xiaomi Mi 5C features a 5.15-inch display with up to 550nit brightness. It will be powered by Xiaomi’s octa core in-house Surge S1 processor and 3GB RAM. For multimedia, the Mi 5C packs a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. It also has a fingerprint scanner on the front. 

The Xiaomi Mi 5C comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 7.1 Nougat OS. For storage, it comes with a 64GB built-in memory. In addition to that it comes with a 2860mAh battery. The Xiaomi Mi 5C will go on sale in selected markets in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more updates. 

Xiaomi Mi MIX Official 

Xiaomi has officially announced Mi MIX, the latest flagship phablet featuring an edgeless display. It is world’s first smartphone to feature an ultra high 91.3% screen to body ratio. The Mi MIX features a 6.4-inch custom edge display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It is powered by 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821 processor and 4GB/6GB RAM. For multimedia, the Mi MIX packs a 16 Mega Pixel rear camera with phase detection auto focus and a 5 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. For connectivity, it supports NFC technology, Dual SIM functionality and Global LTE bands. 

The Mi MIX comes pre-installed with MIUI 8 which is based on Android Marshmallow OS. For storage, it comes with 128GB/256GB built in memory. Other features include USB Type-C port, fingerprint scanner on the back and GPS high precision positioning. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 4400mAh battery with Quick Charge support. The Mi MIX will go on sale in China in the coming weeks. Prices start from $516 for 4GB/128GB variant and the Mi MIX 18k with 18-karat gold rims around camera and fingerprint scanner will be available to purchase for $590. Stay tuned for more updates.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Official

The Mi Note 2 is the latest high end phablet from Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi featuring Google’s Android OS. It is the successor to Mi Note which was launched last year. The new Mi Note 2 features a 5.7-inch Dual curved edge flexible OLED display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s 2.3GHz Snapdragon 821 processor and 4GB/6GB RAM. For multimedia, the Mi Note 2 packs a 22.56 Mega Pixel rear camera capable of shooting 4K videos and an 8 Mega Pixel front facing camera with auto focus for video calls and Selfie pictures. For connectivity, it supports full NFC functionality and full global LTE band connections. 

The Mi Note 2 also supports HD audio quality 24-bit/192kHz DAC. For storage, it comes with 64GB/128GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 4070mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The Mi Note 2 global variant (6GB RAM+128GB storage) will be available to purchase for $516. Xiaomi Mi 6 

The Mi 6 is rumoured to be the next flagship smartphone from Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi featuring Google’s Android OS. It will be the successor to current flagship smartphone, the Mi 5S. According to a leaked image (via GSMArena), the next flagship smartphone will feature a home button at the front which incorporate a fingerprint scanner. The specs of Mi 6 are still unknown but Xiaomi is expected to launch next flagship smartphone in first half of 2017. Stay tuned for more updates. 

Xiaomi Officially Launches New Mi 5S and Mi 5S Plus Smartphones

Xiaomi has officially unveiled two new high end smartphones: the Mi 5S and Mi 5S Plus. Both comes pre-installed with Google’s Android Marshmallow OS and latest MIUI 8. 

The Mi 5S is the latest high end smartphone featuring a 5.15-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 Pixels. It is world’s first smartphone to feature Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint reader which is under the glass display. It is powered by 2.15GHz Snapdragon 821 processor and 3GB/4GB RAM (depending on the internal storage). For multimedia, the Mi 5S packs a 12 Mega Pixel Sony IMX 378 camera at back with Dual LED flash and a 4 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. It also comes with USB Type-C connector and supports LTE mobile connections. Additionally, it comes with a powerful 3200mAh battery. 

The Mi 5S Plus features a 5.7-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 821 processor and 4GB/6GB RAM. For multimedia, the Mi 5S Plus packs a Dual 13 Mega Pixel cameras at back (Sony IMX 258) with Dual LED flash and 4 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. It also comes with a fingerprint reader on the back and USB Type-C connector. In addition to that it comes with a 3800mAh battery that is expected to last whole day on single charge. 

The Mi 5S and Mi 5S Plus will be available to purchase in China starting September 29th. Prices start from $300 for a Mi 5S 3GB/64GB variant and $345 for a Mi 5S Plus 4GB/64GB variant.
