Redmi Note is the latest mid-range phablet from Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi featuring Google’s Android 4.2 OS. It was previously leaked on China’s TENAA certification database. The Redmi Note features a 5.5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by MediaTek’s 1.4GHz or 1.7GHz octa-core processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, the Redmi Note packs a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera with LED flash and 5 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A and 3G mobile connections.
The Redmi Note comes pre-installed with Google’s Android 4.2.2 OS. For storage, it comes with a 16GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. The Redmi Note will be available to pre-order in China on March 19th from Tencent’s Qzone app. There is no official information available on pricing and availability but the Redmi Note is expected to go on sale by the end of April 2014.
