Tablet Z is the next flagship tablet from Sony featuring Google’s latest Jelly Bean OS. In size, it is the thinnest tablet with only 6.9mm thickness. The Tablet Z was first rumored back in few weeks ago. The Tablet Z will feature a 10.1-inch water & dust resistant WUXGA display with the resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz quad core APQ8064 processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, Tablet Z will feature an 8.1 Mega Pixel rear Exmor R camera capable of shooting 1080p videos and 2 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, it will support Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, LTE mobile connections & NFC technology. The Tablet Z will come pre-installed with Google’s latest Jelly Bean OS (Android 4.1). In addition to that it will come with a 6000mAh battery. For storage, the Tablet Z will come with 32GB built-in storage in addition to microSD card slot. There is official confirmation on pricing and availability but it is safe to assume that Sony will launch the flagship tablet at MWC 2013 next month.
