The OnePlus 5 is rumored to be the next flagship smartphone from Chinese manufacturer OnePlus featuring Google’s Android OS. It will be the successor to the current flagship OnePlus 3T. The design of OnePlus 5 will be similar to Samsung’s current flagship device, Galaxy S7 Edge, featuring the similar Dual-edge display. OnePlus will skip OnePlus 4 moniker as the number “4” is considered unlucky in China.
The OnePlus 5 will pack a 23MP rear camera and a 16MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. It will be powered by 6GB or 8GB RAM. For storage, it will come with 256GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it will come with a powerful 4000mAh battery. Rests of the specs are still unknown but OnePlus is expected to launch OnePlus 5 by the end of 2017. Stay tuned for more updates.
