The iPhone SE 2 is rumored to be the next mid-range iPhone from Apple featuring the next generation iOS 11. It was previously previously rumored that Apple might not release a successor to small screen iPhone SE but according to a new report from iGeneration, Apple will launch a second generation iPhone SE by the end of August 2017.

 

The design of new 4.0-inch iPhone will be similar to the predecessor iPhone SE (pictured above). Rests of the specs are still unknown but Apple is expected to launch a second generation iPhone SE at a press event by the end of August 2017.

 

The report also states that Apple is going to hold two launch events for the next generation iPhones, one in August end (for iPhone SE 2) and other in October (for iPhone 8). The new iPhone SE 2 will go on sale in selected markets in Europe for € 399. Stay tuned for more updates.

 

 

Apple iPhone Mini

IPhone Mini will be the first entry level iPhone mainly aimed at budget friendly consumers. Lately, there are plenty of rumors circulating regarding a entry level iPhone that can compete against low end Android and BlackBerry smartphones. Apple’s latest flagship iPhone 5 is doing a great job in high end smartphone market. Apple recently launched iPad Mini to compete against low budget tablets. Apple is going to use the same strategy with its iPhone lineup. IPhone mini is rumored to feature a 3.5-inch display. It will be powered by an A5 processor. The iPhone Mini will come pre-installed with Apple’s next software update iOS 7. There is no further information available on the device but rumors are that it will be launched during Q4 of 2013. Update : According to an investor note from analyst Gene Munster, the budget friendly iPhone smartphone (also known by its codename iPhone 5C) will not feature Apple’s voice assistant Siri. He also believes the iPhone 5C will sell for $300 on average and will be launched next month.

Update : According to a new 9to5mac report, Apple’s iPhone Mini (or iPhone 5C) is intended to replace iPhone 5 and will cost in between $400-$500. The iPhone 5 will reach end of life at the end of Q3 2013, while shipments of iPhone 4S will continue until the end of 2013.
