The HTC U is rumored to be the next flagship smartphone from Taiwanese manufacturer HTC featuring Google’s latest Android OS. It is also known by its codename HTC Ocean. The HTC U will feature a 5.5-inch QHD display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor. For multimedia, the HTC U will pack 12MP IMX362 camera at back and a 16MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. The HTC U will also come with a unique ‘Edge sense’ technology (similar to Apple’s 3D Touch) where sensors will be embedded under the display that enable user to control numerous customisable actions.

The HTC U will come pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 7.1 OS. For storage, it comes with a 64GB/128GB built in memory and micro-SD card slot. Rests of the specs are still unknown but HTC is expected to launch HTC U in coming weeks. It will go on sale in selected markets next month. Stay tuned for more updates.
