Samsung has enjoyed great success in smartphone market in 2010 with its Galaxy S. Now the korean company wants to continue its success with the release of an upgraded version – Samsung Galaxy SII. It has 4.3 inch Super AMOLED plus display with 480 x 800 resolution. In size it is the slimmest samsung smartphone, only 8.48 mm thick and weighs around 116g. The powerhouse of Samsung Galaxy S2 is 1GHz Dual core orion processor and 1GB RAM memory that gives you smooth smartphone experience on Super AMOLED display. Galaxy S2 has Gingerbread OS, Google’s current platform (Android 2.3). For connectivity it has Mobile Network Connections (3G, EDGE and HSDPA connections), Wifi 802.11 b/g/n and bluetooth 3.0 to share all those important multimedia files with friends and family. For browsing Galaxy S2 has web kit browser that supports html and Flash contents. Samsung Galaxy S2 has 16GB in-built memory and has potential to expand with 32GB microSD card. You’ll never be short of memory for all those multimedia and music files. For multimedia Galaxy S 2 has dual cameras, 8 Mega Pixel rear facing camera with autofocus and LED flash and 1.3 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video conference. It also supports 1080p video capture. Other main features of Galaxy S 2 include NFC (Near Field Communication, new contact-less mobile payment service), in-built GPS for location and navigation feature, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and digital compass.

Overall, Galaxy S 2 is really impressive and can definitely live upto the expectation of trend setting original Galaxy S. Galaxy S 2 is available from all leading mobile carriers around the world.
