Samsung has officially announced it’s most anticipated foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Fold. It is Samsung’s first smartphone to feature dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex display which can be folded into a compact smartphone with a cover display.
The new Galaxy Fold features two displays, a primary 7.3-inch QXGA+ AMOLED display and a 4.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED cover display. It is powered by octa core 64-bit 7nm processor and 12GB RAM. For multimedia, the Galaxy Fold packs a triple camera setup (16MP Ultra Wide + 12MP Wide Angle + 12MP Telephoto) on the back, dual front facing camera (10MP Selfie camera + 8MP Depth camera) and a 10MP Selfie camera on the cover display. For storage, it comes with a non-expandable 512GB UFS3.0 storage.
The Galaxy Fold comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 9 Pie OS. Additionally, it comes with a powerful 4380mAh battery with fast charging technology. The Galaxy Fold’s new UX is designed to provide new features like App continuity and multiple active window to improve productivity and multitasking.

Sony has officially announced a new micro-USB flash drive that delivers 2-in-1 functionality for Smartphone and tablet users. It features a dual micro-USB and USB 2.0 for sharing content between Android smartphones and tablets without using cables or Wi-Fi connections. In size, it measures 18.9 x 9 x 31.4mm and weighs only 6g. The new Micro-USB drive supports most Android smartphones and tablets running Android 4.0.3 to 4.3 OS. It comes with USB On-the-Go (OTG) functionality, which allows smartphones to act as a host when connected to other USB ports. The new Micro-USB can also be used as additional or temporary storage to store large data files like movies and music albums. Additionally, a free File Manager app will be available from the Play Store to manage (copy/delete/playback/sort) files from your smartphone. The new Micro-USB drive is also compatible with all Computers and Macs with USB port. The new USB makes sharing pictures between two smartphones quick and easy. The new Micro-USB flash drives will be available in three different variants depending on the onboard storage – 8GB, 16GB and 32GB. It will go on sale in January 2014. The LG G Pad 8.3 is the first ever Google Play Edition (GPE) tablet featuring stock version of Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat. It is powered by 1.4GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 MSM8226 processor and 1GB RAM. It is priced at £79.99 and will compete against other budget friendly 7-inch tablets like Google Nexus 7, Amazon Kindle Fire HD and Tesco Hudl. It was previously rumored few months ago and is expected to launch in Taiwan on December 11th. The Padfone Mini hybrid will feature a 4.3 inch qHD display smartphone and a 7-inch tablet. The Dynamic Display feature on the Padfone Mini will automatically adjusts the Padfone’s display layout when it is docked into the 7-inch tablet. The Padfone Mini will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 processor. For connectivity, it will support Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A and 3G mobile connections. The Padfone Mini will come pre-installed with Android 4.3 OS. For storage, it will come with 16GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. The iPad Mini 3 is rumored to be the third generation iPad Mini from Cupertino giant Apple featuring the latest Touch ID fingerprint scanner. It will be the successor to current 8-inch flagship iPad Mini which Apple announced a few weeks ago. The Touch ID is a fingerprint scanner which allows users to unlock their iPhone and make purchases on iTunes and App Store. It is currently only available on the latest flagship smartphone iPhone 5S. According to a leaked image (pictured above) from Nowhereelse.fr, the iPad Mini 3 will come with a Touch ID fingerprint scanner.
