BlackBerry Z30

BlackBerry Z30 is rumored to be the next flagship smartphone from canadian manufacturer BlackBerry featuring BlackBerry 10.2 OS. It was previously rumored few months ago and recently known by its codename BlackBerry A10. BlackBerry Z30 will also be the successor to BlackBerry’s latest flagship BlackBerry Z10. In size, it measures 140.7 x 72 x 9.4mm. The BlackBerry Z30 will feature a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (295ppi pixel density). It will be powered by 1.7GHz dual core processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, it will pack an 8 Mega pixel camera and 2 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. The BlackBerry Z30 will come pre-installed with BlackBerry’s next software update, BlackBerry 10.2 OS. For connectivity, it will support Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, NFC and LTE mobile connections. In addition to that BlackBerry Z30 will pack a powerful 2800mAh battery. There is no further information available on the smartphone but it is expected to launch during Q3 of 2013. The BlackBerry Z30 will compete against other flagship smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S4, Apple iPhone 5S, HTC One, Moto X and Nokia Lumia 1020. Update : BlackBerry Z30 is one step closer to official launch as the model no. STA100-3 has been approved by Global Certification Forum for GSM, EDGE, 3G, HSPA and LTE AWS mobile connections.

Update : According to Wireless Power Consortium, BlackBerry’s next flagship device BlackBerry Z30 will support Qi wireless charging. The BlackBerry Z30 will pack a medium power receiver, capable of pulling 120W from the charger.

Update : BlackBerry officially announced its next flagship smartphone BlackBerry Z30 at a press event in Malaysia on September 18th.
