Apple iPad 3

iPad 2 is just out for less than a year and Apple is rumored to release a new ipad in 2012 – ipad 3. According to Apple, iPad 2 was a bit of rush job (because of threat from Android tablets and BlackBerry Playbook) and the third generation ipad is the one to talk about. The powerhouse of ipad 3 is A5X processor which will be an upgrade from A5 in iPad 2. Ipad 3 will be the first tablet to feature Retina display and will support quad extended graphics (QXGA) (with resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels) with 4:3 aspect ratio to provide full hd viewing experience. For storage it has 16GB/32GB/64GB options according to the model. Other main features included are NFC (Near Field Communication) support, a thunderbolt port for high speed transfer, 4G LTE support, 8 Mega Pixel rear camera, a 3MP front camera, Long battery life (twice of iPad 2) and a carbon fibre casing. This means that ipad 3 will be lighter than its predecessors.

Overall ipad 3 is impressive and is a significant upgrade to its iPad2. Apple is dominating in tablet market and there is no doubt it’ll change in near future. Rumours are ipad 3 will be available by the end of Q1 2012. Stay tune or follow @harrym20 on twitter.

So next few months are really busy for technology giant Apple.
