Galaxy Note 8.0 will be the latest addition to Galaxy Note Series from korean giant Samsung. In size, it measures 211.3 x 136.3 x 7.95mm and weighs only 330g. The Galaxy Note 8.0 will feature an 8-inch Super LCD display with the resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It will be powered by 1.6GHz quad core Exynos processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, Galaxy Note 8 will come with a 5 Mega Pixel rear camera and 1.3 Mega Pixel front facing camera. For connectivity, it will support Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n & 3G+ mobile connections. The Galaxy Note 8.0 will come pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.2 OS. For storage, it will come in two Storage options – 16GB or 32GB in addition to the microSD card slot. There is no further information available on the Galaxy Note 8 but rumors are that it will be launched during MWC 2013 in late february. The Galaxy Note 8 will compete directly against Apple’s iPad Mini 2 which is rumored to be launched by the end of Q1 of 2013. Stay tuned for more updates or follow @harrym20 on twitter.
Update : A new leaked roadmap for Samsung products suggest that the Galaxy Note 8.0 will be launched sometime in March 2013.
