Samsung has officially announced the new flagship smartphones Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Both the new smartphones comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 8 Oreo OS.
The Galaxy S9 feature a 5.8-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels. In size, it measures 147.7 x 68.7 x 8.5mm and weighs 163g. The new Galaxy S9 is powered by octa core Snapdragon 845 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, it comes with a Super Speed Dual Pixel 12MP with Optical Image Stabilization and 4K video recording at 30 or 60 fps. There is also a 8MP wide angle front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. For storage, it comes with a 64GB built-in memory with support for micro-SD card. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 3000mAh battery with support for fast charging technology.
The Samsung Galaxy S9+ features a 6.2-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED edge to edge display with resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels. It will be powered by same Snapdragon 845 as the Galaxy S9 and 6GB RAM. For multimedia, the Galaxy S9+ packs a Dual camera setup (12MP + 12MP) with Dual Optical Image Stabilisation. Other features include Optical Zoom 2X, Digital Zoom up to 10X, Live Focus Bokeh Effect and Dual Capture. For storage, it comes with a 64GB built-in memory with support for micro-SD card. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 3500mAh battery with fast charging technology.
