Samsung has officially announced a refurbished Galaxy Note 7 in the name of Galaxy Note 7 Fan Edition. It was extensively leaked for the past few weeks. The new Galaxy FE is made up of parts from recalled Galaxy Note 7 units. Unlike Galaxy Note 7’s 3500mAh battery, the new Galaxy FE comes with a smaller 3200mAh battery. Rests of the specs are similar to the original Galaxy Note 7. It features same 5.7-inch QHD display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, octa core processor, 4GB RAM, 12MP rear camera, 5MP Selfie camera and 64GB built-in memory.
The Galaxy Note FE comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android OS. In addition to that it also supports Samsung’s latest virtual assistant Bixby. The Galaxt Note FE will go on sale in South Korea on July 7th for 699,600 won ($610). It will be available in four different color options: Onyx Black, Blue coral, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium. There is no official information available on rest of the world release. Stay tuned for more updates.
