Asus has officially announced two new smartphones, the Zenfone AR and Zenfone 3 Zoom.
The Zenfone AR features a 5.7-inch QHD display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 821 CPU, 8GB RAM, a 23MP Sony IMX318 camera on back with Optical Image Stabilisation and 4K video capture capability, 8MP front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures, fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button, 3300mAh battery and Google’s latest Android 7 Nougat OS. It is also world’s second smartphone to support Tango, Google’s augmented reality (AR) system. In addition it also supports Daydream, Google’s virtual reality system built in Android Nougat.
The Zenfone 3 Zoom features a 5.5-inch 1080p display with Gorilla Glass 5 on top, Snapdragon 625 CPU, 4GB RAM, Dual setup 12MP cameras at back with Optical Image Stabilisation, 2.3x Optical zoom, 13MP Selfie camera, 128GB storage, 5000mAh battery and Google Android 6 Marshmallow OS.
