The Mate 9 is rumored to be the next flagship phablet from Chinese manufacturer Huawei featuring Google’s Android OS. It will be the successor to Mate 8 which was launched last November. The Mate 9 will come in two variants, a high end device codenamed Manhattan with Full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels) and a premium Long Island with curved edge display (2560 x 1440 pixels). It will be powered by an octa core HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor and 6GB RAM. For multimedia, the Mate 9 will pack a 20 Mega Pixel Dual lens cameras at back.
Rests of the specs are still unknown but Huawei is expected to launch Mate 9 at a press event in Munich, Germany on November 3. Stay tuned for more updates.
