Apple has officially announced the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. It was extensively leaked for the past few weeks. The new iPhone features new advance camera systems, more power and performance with better battery life, dust and water resistance with IPX67 certification and the next generation iOS 10.
The new iPhone 7 features similar design to its predecessor but with few changes like the new place of antenna bands. In size, it measures 138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1mm and weighs 138g. The iPhone’s new 4.7-inch Retina display is 25% brighter than iPhone 6S. It is powered by Apple’s new A10 Fusion SoC which is 40% faster than A9 SoC. For multimedia, the new iPhone 7 packs a 12 Mega Pixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation and new True LED flash and a 7 Mega Pixel front facing camera capable of shooting Full HD videos and Selfie pictures.
As rumored, the new iPhone does not come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Apple’s new iPhone 7 comes with EarPod headphones with Lightning cable in the retail box. In addition to that it has new pressure sensitive home button as opposed to physical one. Apple iPhone 7 also sports stereo speakers which are twice as loud as iPhone 6S. The battery life on the new iPhone has significantly improved as Apple says it has talk time of up to 21 hours on 3G. The new iPhone 7 will go on sale in selected markets including Europe and US starting September 16 for €759 for 32GB variant. It will be available to purchase in five different colors : Black, Gold, new Jet Black, Rose Gold and Silver. Stay tuned for more updates.

The design and specs of special edition iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is similar to the original iPhone 7 and 7 Plus which were launched last year. The new special edition iPhones will be available to purchase in 128GB and 256GB storage options. The prices start from $749 for iPhone 7 and $869 for iPhone 7 Plus.
