The Xperia XR is rumored to be the next flagship smartphone from Japanese manufacturer Sony featuring Google’s Android Marshmallow OS. It is also know by its codename Xperia F8331. The Xperia XR will feature a 5.1-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor and 3GB RAM. For multimedia, the Xperia XR will pack a 21 Mega Pixel rear camera capable of shooting 4K videos and a 12 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures.
The Xperia XR will come pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. In addition to that it will come with a USB Type-C port. Rests of the specs are still unknown but Sony is expected to launch Xperia XR at IFA 2016 in Berlin on September 1. Stay tuned for more updates.
