The Galaxy S7 Edge is the latest flagship phablet from Korean giant Samsung featuring Google’s Android Marshmallow OS. In size, it measures 150.9 x 72.6 x 7.7mm and weighs 157g. The Galaxy S7 Edge features a 5.5-inch QHD Dual Edge display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 or Samsung’s own Exynos 8890 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the Galaxy S7 Edge packs a 12 Mega Pixel rear camera with wide 1/f1.7 lens and optical Image stabilisation and 5 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. The Galaxy S7 Edge comes with a IP68 certification which makes the device dust and water resistant.
The Galaxy S7 Edge comes pre-installed with Android 6 Marshmallow OS. For storage, it comes with 32GB/64GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition it comes with a powerful 3600mAh battery with wireless charging capability. The Galaxy S7 Edge will go on sale in selected markets in coming weeks. Stay tuned for more updates.

According to a new report, a customer’s two week old Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone exploded while charging with OEM charger that came with the phone. The smartphone was charging overnight with the original OEM charger.
