The Oppo R7 features a 5-inch Full HD AMOLED display behind 2.5D curved glass. In size, it measures 143 x 71 x 6.3mm and weighs 147g. The Oppo R7 is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit octa core Snapdragon 615 processor and 3GB RAM. For multimedia, it packs a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera with LED flash. Additionally, the Oppo R7 comes with a powerful 2320mAh battery that supports VOOC charging.
The Oppo R7 Plus features a 6-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. In size, it measures 158 x 82 x 7.75mm and weighs 203g. The Oppo R7 Plus is powered by same octa core Snapdragon 615 and 3GB RAM as the Oppo R7. For multimedia, it packs a 13 Mega Pixel camera with laser auto focus and dual LED flash. The Oppo R7 Plus comes with a powerful 4100mAh battery that is expected to last whole day of heavy usage on a single charge. In addition to that the Oppo R7 Plus packs a fingerprint scanner at back.
Both the new smartphones comes pre-installed with Oppo’s latest ColorOS v2.1 which is based on Google’s latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and support Dual SIM functionality. The Oppo R7 will be available to purchase in China starting tomorrow for ¥2499 ($400) whereas Oppo R7 Plus will cost $480. Stay tuned for more updates.
