The VAIO Phone is the first smartphone from Japanese company VAIO corporation which is 95% owned by Japan Industrial Partners. In size, it measures 141.5 x 71.3 x 7.95mm and weighs only 130g. The VAIO Phone features a 5-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (294ppi pixel density). It is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, the VAIO Phone packs a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera with LED flash and 5 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures.
The VAIO Phone comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. For storage, it comes with 16GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 2500mAh battery. The VAIO Phone will go on sale in Japan in the coming weeks for $420. Stay tuned for more updates.
