LG Officially Launches Four New Mid Range Smartphones With Premium Design and Features

LG has officially announced a new lineup of four mid-range smartphones – Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy. They all come with LG’s premium design and features that are usually reserved for flagship smartphones. LG has created a perfect balance of style and usability with the latest lineup.

LG Magna features a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (294ppi pixel density). In size, it measures 139.7 x 69.9 x 10.2mm. It will be powered by 1.3Ghz quad core processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, the LG Magna packs an 8MP rear camera and 5MP Selfie camera. For connectivity, it supports LTE Cat 4 connections. The LG Magna comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. For storage, it comes with 8GB internal memory. In addition to that it comes with a 2540mAh removable battery.

LG Spirit features a 4.7-inch HD display, 1.3GHz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 1MP Selfie camera, LTE Cat. 4 connectivity, 2100mAh removable battery and Google’s latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. In size, it measures 133.3 x 66.1 x 9.9mm.

LG Leon features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display (220ppi pixel density), 1.3Ghz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, VGA Selfie camera, LTE Cat. 4 connectivity, 8GB internal memory, 1900mAh removable battery and Google’s latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. In size, it measures 129.9 x 64.9 x 10.9mm.

LG Joy features a 4-inch WVGA display (233ppi display), 1.2GHz Dual core processor, 512MB RAM, 5MP rear camera, VGA front facing camera, LTE Cat. 4 connectivity, 4GB built-in memory, 1900mAh battery and Google’s latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. In size, it measures 122.7 x 64.0 x 11.9mm.

With the new mid-range lineup, LG is bringing popular UX features that were originally designed for its premium smartphones. Gesture Shot makes it easy to take great Selfies with a simple hand gesture that starts a three second countdown. Glance View let’s users quickly access key information such as time, recent messages or missed calls with a simple downward swipe on the screen, even when the display is off. The latest mid range lineup of smartphones will go on sale in selected markets in the coming weeks and will be shown off at MWC 2015 in Barcelona next month. Stay tuned for more updates.
