Microsoft Lumia 640


The Lumia 640 is rumored to be the next mid-range smartphone from Microsoft featuring the latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS. It will be successor to budget friendly Lumia 630. The Lumia 640 will feature a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It will be powered by quad core Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, the Lumia 640 will pack a 8.7 Mega Pixel rear camera and 0.9 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. For connectivity, it will support Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A, NFC technology, Dual SIM functionality and LTE mobile connections.

The Lumia 640 will come pre-installed with Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS. For storage, it will come with an 8GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. Rest of the specs are still unknown but Microsoft is expected to launch Lumia 640 at MWC 2015 in Barcelona next month. Microsoft Lumia 640 will go on sale in selected markets in the coming weeks for $275. Stay tuned for more updates.
