Kodak has officially announced its first smartphone, Kodak IM5 at CES 2015 in Las Vegas. It is an Android powered smartphone with big focus on photography. The Kodak IM5 features a 5-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by 1.7GHz octa core processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, the Kodak IM5 packs a 13 Mega Pixel camera at back with a unique image management software to improve quality of prints and 5 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures.
The Kodak IM5 comes pre-installed with Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat OS but will be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop OS in future. For storage, it comes with 16GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. The Kodak IM5 will go on sale in Europe by the end of Q1 of 2015. Stay tuned for more updates.
