The ZenFone 2 is the latest flagship smartphone from Taiwanese manufacturer Asus featuring Google’s latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. It is world’s first smartphone to pack 4GB RAM, same as your laptop. In size, it measures 152.5 x 77.2 x 10.9 ~ 3.9mm and weighs 170g. The ZenFone 2 features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (403ppi pixel density). It is powered by 2.3GHz 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor and 4GB RAM. For multimedia, the ZenFone 2 packs a 13 Mega Pixel PixelMaster camera with Real Tone Flash and 5 Mega Pixel front facing wide angle camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A, NFC technology, Dual SIM functionality and LTE mobile connections.
The ZenFone 2 comes pre-installed with Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and Asus ZenUI. For storage, it comes with 16GB/32GB/64GB built in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 3000mAh battery with a fast charging capability (60% charge in 39 minutes). The ZenFone 2 will go on sale in selected markets starting March 2015.
