The ’50 Diamond’ is the latest flagship smartphone from French manufacturer Archos featuring Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat OS. In size, it measures 8mm in thickness. The ’50 Diamond’ features a 5-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 615 processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, the Archos 50 Diamond packs a 16 Mega Pixel rear camera and an 8 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A, Dual SIM functionality and LTE mobile connections.
The Archos 50 Diamond comes pre-installed with Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat OS. For storage, it comes with 16GB built in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 2700mAh battery. Pricing and availability are still unknown but Archos is expected to unveil ’50 Diamond’ at CES 2015 next week.
