The Ascend GX1 is the latest mid-range smartphone from Chinese manufacturer Huawei featuring Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It is mainly aimed at budget friendly consumers in South east Asia. The Ascend GX1 features a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by 64-bit 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, the Ascend GX1 packs an 8 Mega Pixel rear camera with LED flash and 2 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A, NFC technology and LTE mobile connections.
The Ascend GX1 comes pre-installed with Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat OS. For storage, it comes with an 8GB built-in memory. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 3500mAh battery that is expected to last full day on a single charge. The Huawei Ascend GX1 will go on sale in China for CNY 1590 ($255).
