Vivo has officially announced the world’s thinnest smartphone in the form of Vivo X5 Max. It is a thin device measuring only 4.75mm in thickness. The Vivo X5 Max features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by 1.7GHz quad core Snapdragon 615 processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, the X5 Max packs a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera (Sony IMX214 sensor) and 5 Mega Pixel front facing Selfie camera for video calls.
The Vivo X5 Max comes pre-installed with Google’s Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS and Funtouch 2.0 UI. For storage, it comes with 16GB built in memory. The Vivo X5 Max comes with Dual SIM functionality (one for micro-SIM and other for nanoSIM, which if not used can take microSD card). In addition to that it comes with a 2000mAh battery. The Vivo X5 Max will go on sale in China starting December 22 for $485 (CNY 2998). Stay tuned for more updates.
