The Galaxy A5 is the latest mid-range smartphone from Korean giant Samsung featuring Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat OS. In size, it measures 139.3 x 69.7 x 6.7mm and weighs 123g. The design is similar to Samsung Galaxy Alpha featuring a metal chassis. The Galaxy A5 features a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, the Galaxy A5 packs a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera capable of shooting Full HD videos and 5 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A, NFC technology and LTE mobile connections.
The Galaxy A5 comes pre-installed with Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat OS and Touchwiz UI. For storage, it comes with 16GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it cares with a 2300mAh battery. The Galaxy A5 will go on sale in selected markets starting this November. Stay tuned for more updates.
