The Desire Eye is the latest mid-range smartphone from Taiwanese manufacturer HTC featuring Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The design is similar to HTC’s current flagship device, the One M8. It is also the first smartphone to feature 13 Mega Pixel front facing camera specially designed for Selfie photography. The Desire Eye features a 5.2-inch water resistant display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s 2.3GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, the Desire Eye packs an impressive 13MP camera at back and front with Dual LED flash on both sides.
The Desire Eye comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.4 OS and Sense UI. For storage, it comes with 16GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it comes with a 2400mAh non-removable battery. The Desire Eye will be exclusively available in US on AT&T network. There is no official information available on global release.
