The iPhone 6 Plus is the latest flagship phablet from Cupertino giant Apple featuring the next generation iOS 8 operating system. In size, it measures 7.1mm in thickness and is made of anodized aluminum and stainless steel frame. The iPhone 6 Plus features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (401ppi pixel density). It is powered by Apple’s A8 64-bit processor and second generation M8 coprocessor. For multimedia, the iPhone 6 Plus packs an 8 Mega Pixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization and True tone Dual LED flash and an advanced front facing FaceTime HD camera for Selfie pictures. The rear camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps or 60fps. It can also record Slo-Mo videos at 120fps or 240fps. For connectivity it supports Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (WiFi calling supported), GPS, GPS-A, NFC technology for Apple Pay Payments and LTE mobile connections.
The iPhone 6 Plus comes pre-installed with iOS 8 operating system which has been tweaked to take advantage of large screen display. For storage, it comes with 16GB/64GB/128GB built-in memory. The iPhone 6 Plus will go on sale in selected markets starting September 19th 2014. The prices starts at $299 for 16GB variant, $399 for 64GB variant and $499 for 128GB variant.
