The Ascend G7 is the latest mid-range phablet from Chinese manufacturer Huawei featuring Google’s Android OS. The design is similar to Huawei’s latest flagship phablet, the Ascend Mate 7. In size, it measures 153.5 x 77.3 x 7.6mm and weighs 165g. The Ascend G7 features a 5.5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, the Ascend G7 packs a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera with LED flash and 5 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. For connectivity, it supports, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A and LTE mobile connections.
The Ascend G7 comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.4 OS and Emotion 3.0 UI. For storage, it comes with 16GB built-in memory. In addition to that it comes with a 3000mAh battery. The Huawei Ascend G7 will go on sale in Europe for €299. Stay tuned for more updates.
