The Xperia M2 Aqua is the first mid range smartphone from Japanese giant Sony featuring the latest waterproof technology (IP65/68 certified). It can be immersed down to 1.5 metres in fresh water, for up to 30 minutes. In size, it measures 140 x 72 x 8.8mm and weighs 149g. The Xperia M2 Aqua features a 4.8-inch qHD display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels (230ppi pixel density). It is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, the Xperia M2 Aqua packs an 8 Mega Pixel Exmor RS camera at back capable of shooting Full HD videos and front facing 1.1 Mega Pixel camera for video calls and Selfie pictures. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A, Miracast, NFC technology and LTE mobile connections.
The Xperia M2 Aqua comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS. For storage, it comes with an 8GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 2330mAh battery that gives talk time of up to 11 hours 23 minutes.
