The Galaxy S5 Mini is the latest mid-range smartphone from Korean giant Samsung featuring Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS. In size, it measures 131.1 x 64.8 x 9.1mm and weighs 120g. The Galaxy S5 Mini features a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by 1.4GHz quad core processor and 1.5GB RAM. For multimedia, the Galaxy S5 Mini packs an 8 Mega Pixel rear camera with LED flash and 2.1 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A, GLONASS, NFC technology and LTE mobile connections.
The Galaxy S5 mini enables users to enjoy the same flagship experience as the Galaxy S5 with innovative features including IP67 certification, Ultra Power Saving Mode, a heart rate monitor, fingerprint scanner, and connectivity with the latest Samsung wearable devices. It comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS and Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. For storage, the Galaxy S5 Mini comes with a 16GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 2100mAh battery. The Galaxy S5 Mini will first go on sale in Russia in early July and will be available in four different colors options : Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Electric Blue and Copper Gold.
