LG has officially announced its latest flagship smartphone, the LG G3 at various press events across the world including London, New York, San Francisco, Seoul, Singapore and Istanbul. It was extensively leaked few weeks ago. In size, it measures 146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9mm and weighs 149g. The LG G3 features a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (538ppi pixel density). It will be powered by Qualcomm’s 2.5GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB RAM. For multimedia, the LG G3 packs a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization, Dual LED flash and Laser Auto Focus which results in sharp images in no time. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A, GLONASS, NFC technology, LTE mobile connections.
The LG G3 comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS and other UI features like Smart keyboard, Smart Notice and Smart Security with Knock Code, Content lock and Kill Switch. For storage, it comes with a 16/32GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 3000mAh removable battery. To accessorize, the LG G3 comes with an optional QuickCircle Case that allows easy access to frequently used functions such as calling, text messaging, music and camera all from the QuickCircle window without opening the cover.
