HTC has officially announced, the One Mini 2, latest mid-range smartphone featuring Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It was previously leaked few weeks ago. The design is similar to HTC’s latest flagship smartphone One M8. In size, it measures 137.43 x 65.04 x 10.6mm and weighs 137g. The One Mini 2 features a 4.5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, the One Mini 2 packs a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera and 5 Mega Pixel front facing camera for taking selfies and video calls. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A, NFC technology and LTE mobile connections.
The One Mini 2 comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS and HTC Sense 6 UI (including HTC BlinkFeed). For storage, it comes with 16GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 2100mAh battery that gives talk time of up to 16.2 hours on 3G network. The One Mini 2 will go on sale in Europe and Asia starting June 2014 and will be available in three different color options – Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold. Stay tuned for more updates.
