Samsung has officially announced its new camera specialised smartphone, the Galaxy K Zoom featuring an impressive 20.7 Mega Pixel camera with 10X Optical Zoom. It was previously rumored few weeks ago. In size, it measures 137.5 x 70.8 x 18.6 mm and weighs 200g. The Galaxy K Zoom features a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a Hexa core (1.3GHz quad core + 1.7GHz dual core) processor and 2GB RAM.
For multimedia, the Galaxy K Zoom packs a 20.7 Mega Pixel rear camera with 10X Optical Zoom and OIS functionality for ultra clear picture. In addition, it comes with a Xenon Flash that provides a brighter light than LEDs to improve the quality of the picture. The front facing 2 Mega Pixel camera is there for video calls and Selfie pictures. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A, GLONASS, NFC technology and LTE mobile connections.
The Galaxy K Zoom comes pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS. For storage, it comes with an 8GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it comes with a powerful 2430mAh battery. There is no official information available on pricing and availability but it is expected to go in sale in the coming weeks.
