The Galaxy Core 2 is rumored to be the next mid-range smartphone from Korean giant Samsung featuring Google’s Android 4.4 OS. In size, it will measure 129.7 x 67.9 x 9.8 mm and weigh 138g. The Galaxy Core 2 will feature a 4.5-inch WVGA display with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It will be powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor and 512MB RAM. For multimedia, the Galaxy Core 2 will pack a 5 Mega Pixel rear camera with LED flash and front facing VGA camera for video calls.

The Galaxy Core 2 will come pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS. For connectivity, it will support Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/GPS-A, Dual-SIM functionality and HSPA+ mobile connections. For storage, the Galaxy Core 2 will come with 4GB built-in memory and micro-SD card slot. In addition to that it will come with a 2000mAh battery. The Galaxy Core 2 will be available to purchase in Russia from May 20th for 9990 Rubles or $280. Stay tuned for more updates.
