The Desire 616 is rumored to be the first HTC smartphone to feature an octa-core processor. In size, it will measure 142 x 71.9 x 9.1mm and weighs only 150g. The Desire 616 will feature a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It will be powered by MediaTek’s 1.7GHz octa-core processor and 1GB RAM. For multimedia, the Desire 616 will pack an 8 Mega Pixel with LED flash.
The Desire 616 will come pre-installed with Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. It will be available to purchase in five different colors – black, blue, white, red and yellow. Rest of the specifications are unknown but HTC is expected to launch Desire 616 in China by the end of Q2 of 2014. Stay tuned for more updates.
