The Galaxy S5 Zoom is rumored to be the next mid-range smartphone from Korean giant Samsung featuring the highest resolution camera on a Galaxy device. It will be the successor to Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Zoom. The Galaxy S5 Zoom will feature a 4.8-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It will be powered by 1.3GHz Hexa-core Exynos 5260 processor and 2GB RAM. For multimedia, the Galaxy S5 Zoom will pack a 19 Mega Pixel rear camera capable of shooting full HD videos and 2 Mega Pixel front facing camera for video calls. For storage, it will come with 8GB built-in memory. The Galaxy S5 Zoom will come pre-installed with Google’s latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. Rest of the specifications are unknown but Samsung is expected to launch Galaxy S5 Zoom by the end of Q2 of 2014. Stay tuned for more updates.
Update : According to new rumors, Galaxy S5 Zoom will be officially known as Galaxy K Zoom. It will feature a 20 Mega Pixel rear camera with 10X zoom. (4.4-44mm with an f3.3-6.7 24 mm lens).
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom will feature a 4.8-inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, hexa-core Exynos 5 processor, 2GB RAM and Android 4.2.2 OS.
Update : According to a recent tweet from Samsung, the Galaxy S5 Zoom or Galaxy K Zoom will get an official launch on April 29th 2014.
Samsung is planning to announce Galaxy K Zoom at a press event at the red Dot Design Museum at 11am on April 29th.
